Lake Jocassee Dock Builder: Custom Docks, Boat Lifts & Dock Repair
Kroeger Marine builds custom docks on Lake Jocassee and installs HydroHoist boat lifts, custom boat covers and jet ski ports for homeowners near Salem and Sunset, SC. We also repair and remodel existing docks.
We've been building docks in the Upstate since 1985 from our Seneca, SC shop, just down the road from Jocassee. Every dock is designed for your cove, your boats and the way your family uses the lake.
Docks Designed for Deep Mountain Water
Lake Jocassee covers more than 7,500 acres with about 75 miles of shoreline in Oconee and Pickens counties, surrounded by the Jocassee Gorges. The water is deep, clear and cold, the coves are steep and rocky, and much of the shoreline is protected land. That makes every private dock site different, and it's why a Jocassee dock has to be planned around your specific cove, depth and bank.
Duke Energy permit, handled
Lake Jocassee is part of Duke Energy's Keowee-Toxaway Project. New docks, boat lifts and most dock changes need written approval under the Shoreline Management Plan. We prepare and submit your application through Duke Energy's Lake Access Permit System (LAPS) and build to its guidelines.
Engineered for deep water and moving levels
Jocassee is part of a pumped storage hydroelectric system, so water levels move more than on most lakes. Our floating docks pair a heavy-duty aluminum understructure with anchoring and gangways designed for deep water, so your dock rises and falls with the lake and stays usable all season.
